I dont ovulate on my own...

I stopped medications because it was costing me money and I was at their office 3x a week for blood work & ultrasounds and my follicles would grow but 2 days later they went back down...after trying clomid, letrzole & injections I had to stop. i dont ovulate on my own, my ultrasound shows pcos but my tubes are clear ^_^ so idk if i should even try to do opks again because i heard they give false positives and my periods are irregular. help? when should i take vitex? what medication or over the counter meds will help me ovulate ?
