Do you think our culture shames young pregnant women?
I'm bored and I've always wondered what you think. I grew up in an upper middle class environment, mostly white, and fairly educated and liberal. Girls who get pregnant too young are often the butt of jokes and people talk shit about them. Honestly what scares me the most about getting pregnant is what people in my community would say about me. Do you think the stigma is fair? Would it help to get rid of it? For the record I think women who get pregnant too young deserve more respect than they get.
