Who had gotten a positive blood hcg test after a negative at home test?

I am currently on cycle day 38, 6 days late. I have taken a first response pregnancy test every morning since due date of AF & all BFN 😞 I have irregular periods & have missed a whole cycle once before but I knew I wasn't pregnant then due to no baby dancing. But this time we did baby dance a lot so there's a chance & I'm confused cuz I have sore boobs, back aching, EWCM. I went to the docs today & he did a urine test again negative & is now doing bloods. I don't want to get my hopes up, I'm so worried I'm making myself believe I am pregnant with having these symptoms & with having these negative tests it's a big downer. Has anyone had negative at home test so far along & needed to get a blood test done?
