I work for an OB/GYN, I was having cramping (like I normally do before I ovulate) especially Monday night. I am prone to ovarian cyst so I was wondering if It was that since I wasn’t suppose to ovulate until Wednesday/Thursday...

well, I asked our ultrasound tech to do a pelvic ultrasound on me. She showed me my ovaries & the lining of my uterus. My lining was really thick (which she said was good for implantation) & she showed me my follicles on my ovaries that were pretty big, & she showed me one of my follicles which looked like it burst (ovulation) & I also had fluid in my cul de sac (which can happen when a follicle burst from ovulation OR from a cyst).... she then told me It looks like I ovulated Monday night which is probably why I was having cramping... WELL, the confusion is... I was taking OPK & didn’t get a strong positive until Tuesday/Wednesday... so I really don’t know when I ovulated at this point .. bcuz I know you don’t “ovulate” until 12-24 hour from LH surge... but I also know you can have long LH surges ?.... this just doesn’t explain what she showed me on my ultrasound 🙄
