For all the teachers on here. Do you get depressed during the summer break? I am so glad to go back to school. Most people think I sound crazy but I’m tired of the summer blues.

I'm a teacher and I would love year round school. It would burn us out less to have more breaks throughout the year, plus, it would eliminate some of the forgetfulness on the student's part.

Not depressed but anxious for the kids that don’t have the greatest home life. At least during the school year you know they are being care for at school and are eating two meals a day.

I am not a teacher at all but it would make sense. During the school year, you have a set schedule and something to do to put effort towards and to occupy your time. It makes you feel productive. It could also just be a seasonal issue but usually people are the opposite. They find winter time to be when the depression sets in.

I didn’t vote since I’m not a teacher but I remember feeling this way in the summer sometimes when I was in school. I’d get bored. Now I have a year-round job so what are seasons? Lol
