When did your child master a shape sorter?

By master, I mean put all of the shapes in the correct holes several times.

I guess it would depend how much time he spends playing with that toy. My shape sorter has 12 shapes it’s pretty wild and he doesn’t play with it much. So at 22 months he can’t do it all by himself.

I agree with Zoe. My son's (he'll be 2 in a month) has 10 different shapes. However, he has very little interest in it and I don't push it.

This is our shape sorter. It said 12m on the toy but at a year my son had ZERO interest beyond shaking and rolling it, I think it’s definitely bc he didn’t process color until closer to 2 years old. One day he just picked it up and did it without even thinking twice about it, it was like a switch went off in his head.
