How do you put a tampon in????

Question

I finally tried tampons and I got it in first try buttt it was super uncomfortable. I’m scared to try again but I hate pads.
Any tips on how to properly put one in?
(I’m not a virgin btw)

Are you using ones with or without applicators?
They can make it easier to insert the tampon far enough.

it was probably in wrong if it was uncomfortable. you shouldn't really feel it in there if you push it in far enough. just stick it in there and push the tampon out of the applicator , pull the applicator out and then what I due is stick my finger in and push the tampon up a little bit more.. if this is your first time using them I would stick with the small sizes until you get the hang of it.

If it was uncomfortable, you probably didnt put it in high enough or the size was too big.
