yellow mucousy discharge

have had this very stringy yellow mucousy discharge, odourless, no itch or burn for the last few months, have had swabs done confirming only candida which is weird as its not 'typical cottage cheese or itchy. was recently treated for BV which seemed to go away after my last period. im a virgin, only activity was recieved oral by my ex last year. could it just be physiological ? was also tested negative for clamydia and trich. i have to wear a liner every day.
