Missing account

I was trying to log in and it said user not found so I was like whatever I’ll create a new account so I did and it brought up an account I guess is old by a few years since it’s saying ive commented back in 2016. However, I’ve used the same email. To log in and create an account with however when I said forgot password it accepted the email. I’m really confused cause I want back on my most recent account seeing as it has all my periods for the past year on it and is most accurate
