Doctor Appt after husband no success with on clomid

My husband has been on clomid for 4 months (started right after our first failed

IUI

, for which we had under 2 million sperm).

At the 3 month mark they did an SA, the results of which prompted them to double his dose of clomid and do another test 4 weeks later. The counts after the last test (early August) are still not high enough and they have asked us both to come in to speak directly with the doctor, I’m assuming to discuss next steps.

I am happy they are helping us through this and feel as though they are taking the logical, least invasive methods and I really appreciate that. I do want to make sure that I ask all the right questions in our appointment next week; does anyone have any suggestions on what I should be asking at this point in the process? I feel as though I always forget important things once I’m in there, so would love some advice from anyone who has been (or is!) there
