Bassinets?

I’ve looked at a few, originally I wanted the Halo bassinet.  I’ve heard a lot of great things and every one seems to love it.  Is it really as great as the reviews say or are there other better options.  My husband likes the Fisher Price bassinets because it has a lot of features with it.  I just want something comfortable and safe for our baby to sleep in though. Does anyone have experience with the Halo or other brands that they really like?

I got the Halo and I liked it. I think one big difference from other bassinets is that the Halo swivels, so you can swing the baby out of the way to get in and out of bed. Or you can even swing the baby to be slightly over your bed if you’re tight on space. We only used it for three months before the baby was ready for his crib, so I highly suggested finding a used one. I got ours used. I would have been upset to pay full price for something we used for such a short time.

We LOVED our Halo Bassinet. We used it until our daughter was about three months. We had the Luxe Series and loved it. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

Baby isn’t here yet so I don’t know how it will go, but I got a used Halo from someone I know. For half the price.

I plan on using a halo because of the swivel, but not just to make it easier to get out of bed. I also like that it can swivel toward you over the bed too, which will make feeding a lot easier if I have trouble getting up and around after birth.

I LOVED our Halo.  It was one of my fave baby gear items.  I also would suggest finding it used, bc it is expensive.  But I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!!  I saved mine from our first baby and will use it for our second.  My daughter stayed in it for like 6 months I think bc she was so small.

We have that basinette and we love it! It’s deep and you can detach the light/music attachment and use it elsewhere.

We got a Fisher Price fold n go one. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on it since she won’t be in it for that long.
