How many of you had your baby during the 38th week?

If you did, comment your story. An induction, planned c section, went into labor on own, etc?

Water broke on its own. But I had been having an unusual amount of Braxton Hicks so my doctor said I’d probably go into labor at 38 weeks. He was right! 23 hours of labor. Healthy 8 lb baby :)

I was induced for medical reasons at 38 weeks 5 days. 20 hours of labor and she was born weighing 7lbs 2oz no complications.

I was 37+2. I had high blood pressure so they were planning on inducing at 39 weeks or if it spiked. Thankfully he came on his own first after a cervix check.

Was induced for high blood pressure... never dilated... so after 20+ hours I ended up with a csection .

I was in early labor and baby wasn’t tolerating contractions well. I was induced and she was born in 5 hours! Only 4 pushes. Born at 38 weeks exactly

with my second baby i was scheduled to be induced at 38+5 but he came the day before on his own and fast! Water broke in the middle of the night, we waited about an hour before getting to the hospital (had to wait for my dad to come sit with our little girl at our house while she slept). Got to the hospital and he was born 14 mins after getting the epidural, 2 pushes.

My third was 9 days early but all natural! Much better odds of smooth delivery if you give nature some time to do it’s thing (tho not forever lol!!).

I was 38 weeks and 5 days and just went into labor. I started having contractions at 01:00 in the morning and my daughter was born at 09:23. She was perfectly healthy 6 lbs 15 oz.
