My Husband thinks he’s going away 10 days before my due date

My due date is March 14. We live in Los Angeles and our best friends are getting married in a remote town in Australia on March 4 (they live there and just came All the way out for our wedding in June). My husband thinks he’s going to the wedding for the weekend... he’s going to spend at least 24-30 hours traveling there and then another 24-30 traveling back. I’m hoping he’ll come to the realization on his own that he really could miss the birth of his first baby if he goes! He’s so stubborn and has to come to these kinds of realizations on his own and doesn’t want to be told what to do but in this situation, I want to scream to him “oh come on you idiot!!” Lol. Even my doctor told him he can’t go but then back-peddled and said it’s our decision. Lol
