nursery in an apartment?

for the first year of our baby’s life we will be living in an apartment. i’m kinda bummed because i won’t be able to paint or really decorate how i want to... does anyone have any pictures or ideas on how to decorate a nursery? we don’t know the gender yet so all the ideas will be great!!! thx:)

I just started, and this is really all I have done. But we don’t know our babies sex and probably won’t be finding out! We’re going for light colors and a dream catcher/ dream theme! I love it so far! We rent as well so we can’t paint, but I love the neutral walls with these decorations and the others I don’t have up yet! I hope this helps!!

You can buy decals that peel off easily. I got some from Etsy and they are great

I remember seeing someone else on here that was having a girl and she too could paint the apartment so they used tulle in strips down the wall to make it look striped and it looked really neat. When we were having my oldest we were also renting and we bought a lot of wall decals to use on the wall even the dollar tree sells them. We’re not renting now but I didn’t want to put a bunch of holes in the wall at my house so I put the babies name on a canvas instead of just the letters on the wall.

Look over your lease again! Most just state that the tenant is responsible for repainting the unit so that it looks as it did when you moved in. Lots of places can match the paint for you.

Be lucky it’s only a year. Raising a kid in an apartment has sucked for me. But for you, it doesn’t seem like it’ll be bad. You have an infant, a plan to get a house soon (I’m assuming) and there are plenty of cute things you can do for a nursery without painting. Try looking up nursery decor on YouTube or Pinterest. They have cute, removable wall decals so you don’t necessarily have to paint. Most apartments come in neutral colors so you can easily decorate in any color.
