Did you take your baby to your 6 week pp visit?

I'm having trouble finding a sitter plus my son is too fussy for my MIL so I'm not sure what to do. Take him or keep looking for a sitter?

My doctor was so excited to see the little baby she delivered.

The nurses will watch baby during your visit. Mine practically stole her away & the midwife that delivered her appreciated seeing her again. ☺️

Ok, so I always wondered why the little brand new babies were always with the mom at the first appointment, to the point that I asked if we needed to bring the baby to the appointment, like maybe they did something with the baby (I’m so dumb)? Anyway, they obviously said no, so I didn’t bring him. And then my doctor and everyone was like, “wtf? people usually bring their babies so we can meet them since we, you know, delivered him and saw you a million times during your pregnancy!” and I was just like, “ohhhhhhhhh...” I was embarrassed and felt badly that I didn’t bring him!!!

Yes, but my husband was there to take care of him while I had the exam.

Just double check with your office, but mine said as long as baby is in car seat, bring them (they don’t allow older children)

We take our son pretty much everywhere. Rarely do we have a sitter. He even comes with to some of our work meetings since my husband and I have the same employer. Thankfully he is a super chill dude so none of it has been an issue. Only once did a nurse mention our son having to leave, and that was when he was super fussy on day five of a six day hospital stay of mine - the neighbor patient was bothered by his crying (we all were! Haha) Thankfully we were able to calm him so we didn’t have to be separated.

I take my son to all my OB appointments, hehehe.  I am pregnant with #2 and my son has attended all of my appointments from the beginning (he is a year and a half, or 17 months old, now).
