experiences with being induced without being dialated or effaced

I'm at the end of my pregnancy and having 0 progress whatsoever. Just would like to hear experiences if you got induced when you werent dialated or thinned at all. I know the risk of csection is high but if given no option to go past a certain date I just want to know. only thing I really know is it sucks and is super painful
