How many changing pad covers do you use for your baby?

We never used a pad. Just changed baby on whatever surface he was on. Table, floor, bed, back seat of the car, wherever.

Y’all I got a whole changing table and used it twice. I’ve always changed him on the bed or the couch or the floor. I have a pillowcase in each room for that purpose.

2 of the pretty fitted covers, but I have 12 bamboo changing pad liners, which sit on top of my changing pad to protect it from accidents. I also keep an extra changing pad liner in each of my diaper bags, plus 2 extra in the car for diaper changes in the backseat, so 12 is the number I’ve accumulated lol.

Lol i own four or five. Aaaaaand almost never used the changing table. 😂 Wait to see what you actually do in practice before spending tons of money. We have a two story house and there’s no way I’m going upstairs for every diaper change!!!!  We used swaddling blankets on the couch for must changes with my son.

2. One to use and one to wash.

I have three, and I like to have one available when the other gets spiked so I don’t have to throw on a wash immediately. The changing pads themselves are wipeable, but just a few weeks ago my two year old had an explosion...and it was awful. Usually the pads have a design embossed and it got in all the cracks 😱. 
One of my changing covers is a wipeable one, which was great in theory until my son peed on it and it slipped down and coated his back because it wouldn’t absorb.

Just put a towel under baby when changing. The changing pad is slightly plasticy so it’s wipeable, but I prefer to use a towel under him.

We don’t use a cover for the changing pad. Ours is wipeable so that makes it easy to clean if there is a mess.
