what is best cheapest vacuum cleaner for pet hair

we are moving at the end of this month from an apartment with all hardwood floors to one that has all carpeted floors. We have two large longish haired dogs. With an almost 6 month old and 2 older kids i wanna get the best vacuum for the dog hair cause baby will be on the floor alot....thanks for any recommendations. I kno nothing about vacuums. lol

I Have the Shark Rocket. It’s small enough that it’s not super heavy I can carry it up and downstairs. I have three dogs, two cats and a toddler lol so it gets used often! The only thing is it needs to be emptied often but it doesn’t bother me.

Dyson. It’s not cheap but with the situation you described you’re going to blow through cheap ones at least once a year if not more so you may want to invest up front in one that will actually get the job done and last you. I’ve had my $450 Dyson for over a decade with no issues, my friend went the cheap route and ends up buying a new one for at least $100 annually. She’s already spent over $1000 in the same amount of time replacing it every year. We both are a multi dog household with carpets and kids.

You're going to want to buy a good quality one. Don't bother with the cheap ones they won't last or do a good enough job at getting the hair and dander. I have two huskies and a Kenmore vaccuum that I absolutely cannot live without. Dyson, in my opinion, is overrated. Shark vaccuums are great. If your dogs shed a lot make sure you get a vacuum with a decent size canister otherwise you're emptying it 100 times.

We’ve had like 5 expensive ones that all died  within a year to a year and a half 🙄 our last one was the cheapest one around $50 from Walmart and it worked the longest 4-5 years. We tore the hose on it and to replace it would have cost $20 so we just went ahead and bought another one for around $50. I think it’s dirt devil with the pet claw (which works AMAZINGLY at picking up hair - we have one dog and two cats)

I have a shark duo clean and it works really great on my tile, I had a dyson before but it got jammed a lot and broke within a year. It’s also a lot easier to clean the hair off the brush on the shark which is super important because we have two dogs and two cats so there is a lot of hair.

I am ecstatically happy with my Eureka AirSpeed One Bagless Upright Vacuum. It is only $60! I got it because Consumer Reports rated it second only to a $300 vacuum, and it works SO WELL. I had been using an 8-year-old model with the old-fashioned disposable bags, and had recently vacuumed with it. When I unpacked the new Eureka vacuum and used it on just the living room rug, the entire chamber of the vacuum was full of dust and pug hair! Our house literally smells better with the HEPA filter level vacuum. Highly recommend.

My parents have both the shark and the Dyson. Love them both. I'm currently borrowing the Dyson because I have a big bulky eurkea and it's hard for me push around (I'm 38weeks) love love love the Dyson and told my husband that's what I want for Christmas. Lol so we are saving up for one and hoping to see them go on sale for black Friday.
