Hello! I’m a first time mom and I ended up having a c section. I am two two post op and going home tomorrow.

I was wondering if there are any moms on here that have big dogs?

I have a pit bull at home and I’m a little concerned with how I’m going to walk him and not hurts my incision site. He does great on walks unless he sees kids, he wants to go say hi or sees a ball, he wants to destroy it 😅🤷🏻‍♀️

This first week home my mom will be with me so I’m not to worried then but what about after? Husband will be working Thursday thru Monday and Friday thru Sunday he works a second job. Then Mom has to go back to work. I can probably keep my sister in law with me since she’s on summer break. 🤔

Have any moms had a c section and dealt with this? Was it easier after the first week or did you have to get help with walking the dog?
