Are you serious mom?

So my mom about lies to me about everything (where she’s at, what she’s doing, etc) and not just little white lies. Like a few weeks ago she called me saying her boyfriend had choked her out and she was calling the cops and that they were there. Well I messaged my sister asking if she was okay and she had no idea what I was talking about and that the cops weren’t there and that our mom was in the bathtub. Why even lie about something that serious? Well anyways I’m almost 30 weeks pregnant have practically about begged her to help my MIL with a baby shower.. she won’t. Well she said she was gonna do the food and order a cake. Well we’ve had some problems going because I over heard her telling my grandmother on the phone that she was gonna be a shitty grandmother to my daughter. We talked, and I kinda let it go after not talking to her for a few. Anyways my mom had called me a few nights ago and lied to me once again about something pointless. Well I was talking to my sister about it and my mom decides to send me an ugly text and say “don’t talk to my daughter about me.” Like I’m not her daughter too and that I’m just a bystander. And she said my sister is just a “child”. (She’s 13 but last time I recall when I was 13, my mother was giving me drugs to clean the house) Now she has told my grandmother that she’s not coming to my baby shower not getting food or a cake. And my baby shower is in a week! She literally told me she’s not the mother or grandmother I need her to be. WTF. I’m literally this close to cutting ties with my mother because who wouldn’t be?

I cut ties with mine. She has a cluster b personality disorder, narcissism. Sounds as if your mother may as well. Pathological lying is a huge side effect. Like over the stupidest stuff. My mother came after my children. I do not speak to her and I live 1600 miles away from her. 
I’ve had people tell me, “you only get one mother.. Unless you have been there, you can’t understand. Nobody abuses my kids and remains in our lives, sorry!

I know she’s your mother, but unfortunately it might just be better to cut ties with her. I had to do the same with mine because I couldn’t handle her Psychoticness anymore.
