Boyfriend going to different college, need some cheering up

My boyfriend just left my house and we both cried to the thought that we have one day left before I move out of town. Both of us love each other very much and we have a very healthy relationship built on trust and honesty. It hurts so much for him to leave and I can't stop crying. I know to most people it's just a high school relationship that may end in a couple months, but for me in this moment I want to be with him for a long time. I'm moving away from my best friend. Does anyone have any advice for us? Comments on how our relationship changed or even stories about couples lasting through college? I can't stop crying.
