I tried to breastfeed my first baby and the stress of her being in the nicu caused my supply to drop. This time I said I would do whatever it took to be able to nurse since she is so little. Day five and I pumped 8oz after nursing. We also found out today at her weight check that she has passed her birth weight. She was 4lb 6oz at birth and dropped to 4lb 2oz in the hospital and today on day five she was 4lb 8oz!!! I’m sooooooo happy I could scream... but I won’t because both babies are sleeping.
