Do you believe God created the earth or that we slowly evolved from a single cell organism to a monkey to a man? you can’t pick and choose which parts of the Bible you want to believe.

Yes you can believe in evolution ... keep in mind that evolution is theory, not fact.  I as a Christian, believe in evolution THROUGH creation.

Evolution does not strictly mean that we come from monkeys. Yes, God created man and woman hundreds of thousands of years ago, but to think that humans have not EVOLVED over those years is dumb and ignorant in my opinion. Christians are allowed to believe in evolution because it does not go against the fact that God is the creator of life.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say evolution didn’t happen. I don’t think there’s any issue believing that things have evolved over time. It’s important to remember that we can’t limit Gods abilities. HOWEVER it’s also important to remember that believing evolution occurred and believing IN evolution are two different things. As Christians we believe that God created the earth and everything on it, not that somewhere at random a cell started to divide.

I believe in microevolution, which is when different organisms adjust to their environment over time. For example, the beak of a species of bird changing to better enhance its ability to eat. But we came from apes...no. The Bible states God made heaven and earth and everything in it, including human beings.

There is no such thing as evolution as a Christian. God made the earth in literal days not in hundreds or thousands of years. Just read the first book in the Bible which is genesis and you will see that evolution is false and just made up by scientists to contradict the Bible. Psalms 33:9 - For he spake, and it was done, He commanded, and it stood fast.

If you believe that we were created by God in the sense that he brought us about in His own image, then I don’t necessarily think that it matters in what way this happened. That doesn’t mean I necessarily believe we all descended from an ancient prehistoric fish, but God works in mysterious ways. From where we came is not as important as where we are now, and the means by which we were created will eventually be revealed to us. Not everything in the Bible is meant to be taken absolutely literally. God speaks the truth in the Bible but that doesn’t mean that the creation story cannot be interpreted differently than the way is is explicitly written.
