Another guy..idk what to do

I have a boyfriend that I’ve been with for 9 months and things haven’t been doing so well and we’ve just been arguing so much but i still love him very much but there is a guy that asked me for my number and i gave it to him my friend was hyping it up and i just said sure but now he keeps texting me and now he wants to hang out i did tell my bf about that but i did not tell him he’s been texting me what the hell do i do ?? the boy i feel so guilty and I’m not that type of girl that does this
