Cramping

How much cramping is normal? I just tested positive a couple days ago. I was having really strange cramps that felt prickly and knew I had to test. I thought most of the cramping would go away but it’s stuck around. It’s very light and comes and goes depending on how active I’ve been. Sometimes I think it may just be gas (ew) other times it just feels like pulling. Has anyone had anything similar and how long did it last? I kept finding things online that said it shouldn’t last more than 3 days but mine hasn’t stopped. We haven’t told our families yet. My mom is an OB/GYN and I have so many questions but want to wait to say anything until we hear a heartbeat.
