🤔Anyone recommend Inositol for PCOS?💊
Hello ladies💕
I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago and I’ve taken Metformin and birth control before. I didn’t really find either of the options effective or appealing, so I’m looking for some other alternatives. I recently did some research on supplements that have helped women with PCOS, and the major one that popped up was inositol. There are two versions of it: myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol.
If you guys have had experiences with it, feel free to share your experience with it to me and others who are curious. Some things I want to know about it:
... if you used one or both types of the inositols💊💊
... if it helped boost your weight loss journey🏋️♀️
... improved your skin😉✨
... decreased food cravings🍔
... improved your mood😜
If you have anything else to include about it, definitely put it down. If there are any other recommendations that really helped you, then definitely share those too. Include details if you can.
Also, please include your PCOS symptoms if possible.
For me, I have an absent period, some cystic acne here and there, brain fog, a weak body, bad water retention, and a really difficult time losing weight. I run at least 5k a week or swim a lot with my sister, eat healthy, and fast intermittently.
My PCOS began during my 2nd year in high school and I gained 20-30 pounds easily the moment I graduated. Since then, I’ve only been able to maintain the weight. In 2015, I also had really bad cystic acne, but I healed my skin by going to a pimple popper, using the right products for my skin type (oily and sensitive to salicylic acid and tea tree oil), and using prescribed medication (sulfacetamide sodium topical).
Thanks ladies💕
