Personally, I feel they are for show more than anything and feel it’s quite a private moment, when I’m told the sex of the baby I only need to share it with my husband in the moment, I will share the news with my family and friends but nothing fancy, i wouldn’t have thought it would mean as much to anyone else.

Second I found out I told everyone.  I am not into the gender reveal parties and I am not into baby showers so won't be having one of those either.

Nope! I'm not even telling people the date of our anatomy scan! My mom gets REALLY excited, and I don't want to have to worry about texting her IMMEDIATELY with the results. If we don't tell people the exact day, we can take our time and share the special moment just the two of us!

Me and my childs father will be having a gender reveal dinner. We will pick 2 desserts one for each gender and ask the waiter/waitress to bring us the one that it says in the envelop. We are doing it tomorrow so Ill keep you ladies updated!! ❤️✨

In order to have a gender reveal that means a friend or relative will know my baby’s gender before my husband and me. NO WAY!! I’m so not into them. AT ALL!  I actually attended my first one this past weekend and although it was cute, can’t say I will ever be a fan.

My next door neighbor knows the sex of my child and were having a gender reveal on sunday "today is tuesday." I have two step kids and want them to be apart of the reveal. I think it'll be cute all of us finding out together at the same time.

We are, not my choice. If it was me I’d say no. But this is my husbands first and he really wants one, so I’m letting him have his moment. He is so excited. I was 16 when I had my first. 10 years later and married, a lot has changed. I’m not the only parent around (other then my parents helping me)

I will be doing a gender reveal cake at our baby shower so not really a gender reveal party on its own as I think that’s a bit extra but we’ll do it at our baby shower for a bit of fun :)

Hell yes I am!! We don’t care what we have either way. Our baby will be the first grandchild on my husbands side so both sides are very excited. Most of the get togethers we have with family (since we all live pretty far away) are for funerals which sucks. This is a happy occasion. We aren’t doing anything fancy though. Lunch at our favorite brewery with family and a few local friends. No gifts, no games, just a good time and lots of laughs.
