Replacing bottles...?

How often do you replace your LO's baby bottles with new ones?
I have been using the Dr. Brown's bottles and my LO loves them. If you use these as well, when did your LO stop needing the vent?

the only time I replaced the bottles for my little one was if they started to leak or grew out of the 4oz bottles. if you feel like you don't need the vent system anymore for your little one I would go and buy the parents choice bottle. They are cheap and has the same style of nipple. I would buy just one and see how the little one does before buying tons of them.

I replace every 6 month. I use medela, dr Brown bottle but use similac/enfamil nipple instead

We’ve been using the Dr. Browns option bottles and they started leaking like crazy, we tried without the vent, but he just got really bad gas. We switched over to smilo and joovy bottles because they are anti-colic without all the crazy parts. We are in the process of replacing all of our 4 oz bottles... they are very cloudy and have started to smell even after sanitation and washing.

I have lots of bottles, so I was thinking of replacing after 6 months. But if I didn’t have a lot I probably wouldn’t replace them - just the nipples. I think as long as they don’t smell bad, change colors or break they’re fine.

We have the dr brown options bottles and once in awhile will forget to put the straw part in there but will still put the green top part in. LO seems to do just fine but we still normally use the whole system because he’s down to 4 bottles so it’s not terrible to clean anymore.
