Being present during home inspection on still occupied home??

So my boyfriend and I are in the process of buying our first home. The sellers are still occupying the home though and our closing date isn’t until October 15th. Our home inspection is scheduled for this Friday. Out realtor told us it’s a very important appointment for us to attend, however it’s likely that the sellers will be home at the time of the inspection. I’m not sure what my boyfriend and I are supposed to be doing in the mean time while the inspector is doing his job. Our realtor said it’s probably best to just let him do his thing while we wait and then talk with him after, which is fine. I’m just not sure how to spend 45-1hr at our home that it technically not our home yet and somebody else is still living there lol. Anyone been in the same boat?
