Maternity leave??

My job doesn’t offer maturnity leave, is there any programs that you guys know of that help to pay the bills while your out of work? Anything will help!

My job didn’t offer paid maternity leave either, and I worked in a hospital. What they did was have me save my PTO that I racked up all pregnancy and I was able to stay home for 8 weeks. Which was plenty enough for me. If you don’t have that option then you may not be able to take off very long. I don’t know any programs that help with that.

In the same boat as you right now I am actually calling a few places to see if I would be as to get temporary assistance for my 6 weeks then stop it once I return to work.

WIC helps for food and stuff like that I know some stares offer to help pay some of rent FMLA if you end up needing extra leave but they don’t help pay for anything

My job does not offer it either, I mean they can’t fire me I’m guaranteed off for 12 weeks if I want it but I don’t get paid
I signed up for short term disability with the print saying birth counts so I could get paid

Idk what state you live in but New York now offers paid leave you have to file for disability I'm order to get it tho
