How often does your breastfed baby poop ?

My son is 3 months old and he hasn’t gone in a couple days now . Is that normal ? He’s exclusively breastfed so I’m not sure what’s normal ? He would usually go more then a couple times a day but as of Friday he hasn’t gone at all .

My first would go every day, but my 2nd goes every 3 to 4 days. Both are normal.

My pediatrician told us that a couple of days is normal. But I would suggest eating a lot of fiber today to help him poop - oatmeal, banana, anything else you can think of

My girl has varied.  Usually she has one or two a day, but she has gone through at least three periods where she just didn't poop for days on end.  She was fine, and blew out her diaper when she finally went.  I agree with PP sometimes they are just using up all the milk that you are giving them.  As long as baby is peeing plenty you're good.

My LO usually poops every day but once went a whole week without going. I called the pediatrician, and they said that was normal. Sometimes they go through growth spurts where their bodies are using calories really efficiently and not making that much waste. As long as they are eating normal and have a regular amount of pee diapers, should be fine!

My girl is a pooper, a couple of times a day at least! She will sometimes go one-two days without and you can definitely tell she is not comfortable with it! I don’t know if it works like this for everyone, but I’ll give her a small dose of gripe water and it gets her pooping every time! Usually a blowout 😂

From what I’ve heard breastfed babies use a lot more nutrients in the milk. It is common for breastfed babies to go as long as seven days without having a bowel movement. As long as his belly isn’t bloated and he doesn’t seem uncomfortable you’re fine! Just be prepared for a blowout when it does come! Haha

1x a day minimum. Dr told us one poop a week was good.

I’ve heard they can go several days without pooping. My LO poops every other day pretty consistently.
