TOLAC or RCS?

Whitney

I am pregnant with my second and since before I even got pregnant, I was set on a VBAC. I feel the benefits far outweigh the risks associated and I have an extremely supportive OB willing to allow a trial of labor. I am now almost 32 weeks and the anxiety is starting to settle in. About 3 weeks ago, we moved to a new state. I had to quit my job, switch obs, and all the other “fun” stuff that goes with moving. We moved for my husband’s job. We have no family here (closest is 7.5 hour drive away) and no friends yet and no childcare (daycare waitlist is ridiculous). Now the possibility of going into spontaneous labor is a huge stressor. We have a 2 1/2 year old son and two dogs. Now I’m worrying if a repeat c-section would be more beneficial for our family so we can plan for childcare and board the dogs. I’m just terrified of going into labor and having to be alone because we didn’t properly plan.... I just so torn on what to do and my husband and family are so supportive, they say “I support whatever you choose to do”.... I almost wish I had someone opinionated because I don’t know what’s best now....
