🙋🏻‍♀️ I met my husband when he was a freshman and I was a sophomore. This year we celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary and will be celebrating 12 years together in September.

I had this lovely Macedonian taxi driver once and he was probably in his 60s. He was telling me about how much he adores his wife and how she calls him every day with a grocery list of things for him to get on his way home. And when he gets home he makes fresh coffee for her every day. And how he has never met a more beautiful hard working woman and how she takes such great care of their kids/grandkids. Then at the end he was like “she was my high school sweet heart, I never loved anyone else but her”. 
I’m usually like not for marriage or staying with only one person from teenager-hood. But if he was being honest about what he said, I thought it was beautiful.

I did. My husband and I just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary.  We dated for almost a year in high school. I was a sophomore and he was a freshman. After we split, I got married and he had a long term relationship. Both of our relationships were over when we reconnected. He proposed and 3 months later we were married. Best decision of my life.
