Cosmetologist, do you expect a tip or payment of some sort if you do a family members color at home?

My sister in law is 20 and I see her around 3-4 times a year. I’ve cut her hair before and he has never paid me, which isn’t a big deal cuz it’s just a hair cut. But then she had me color her hair and didn’t pay me either. She did go with me to pick out her color and pay for it, but I can’t help but feel a little used. She paid $20 for color so even if she just tipped me she would have still been saving lots of money. It’s not like I need the money or anything it’s just I feel like she is really taking advantage of me since we are not that close anyway.
