Ultimatums are a tricky business. You never threaten with an ultimatum unless its truly a dealbreaker that you would leave over.

I personally feel like if you feel like you have to give ultimatums, then the relationship is over. I’ve given an ultimatum once, and I never should have. I should have left instead. This was after several occurrences of things that should have never happened to begin with but I still couldn’t give up.
