Surgery?

Question

Has anyone ever had bairatric surgery to help with the weight loss and trying to conceive. My doctor recently told me about it and set me up for a consult but was hoping to talk to someone who had had it done. Any info or personal stories help! Thanks.

I have not had this surgery, but I’m wondering, is this your last option? Have you tried a weight loss system with a support group?

I had gastric bypass in 2016 because I had fertility issues and wanted to have a baby. They tell you to wait 12-18 months post op before getting pregnant. I lost 100lbs in the first 7 months and got pregnant on birth control. I was on the pill and my body didn't absorb the hormones well enough. My pregnancy was super easy, I gained no weight and it was amazing! My daughter is now 16 months and I'm trying for our 3rd child. I have a 4 year old son and have had 5 miscarriages before my surgery. I also had high blood pressure, pre diabetic, fatty liver disease, kidney failure, thyroid issues, pcos and my son was born a month early due to my getting preeclampsia....all before I had the surgery! Now I have zero health issues. My hair thinned out but so what?!
