So im 3 months late posting this as i forgot to do it (baby brain lol)

So my son was born on Thursday 10 may at 5.02pm after 16 hours in labour

Lets start from the beginning...... Wednesday 9th may i had the sweep done 4pm to hopefully bring on labour as i was booked in a week later to get induced(16th may) because my doctor was concerned about baby sugar levels as id got gestational diabetes round 25weeks and he might have to go into neonatal after he was born. After the sweep i went for a longish walk with the father of the baby nothing happened. Went home had dinner, bath and round 9/10pm i took 2 shots of castor oil (not nice at all) and went to bed. Around 12/12.30am i started feeling craps not too painful but enough for me to know they are there, ( hadn't slept from going bed at 9/10ish) unknown to me it was contractions lol so 1am i felt like i peed myself no my waters broke!!! I shouted the bd (baby daddy) he comes running in as i was shouting him i throw up on myself bd goes for a bucket cause im gonna do it again, i start heading for the bathroom water running down my legs while holding sick in my hands. Made it to the sink to throw up the 3rd time lol so after that i sit on tbe toilet as waters still coming i ring the Labour ward inform them whats happened (1.15am) have to be there for 2am, so i changed sorted out my travel and heading to the hospital on route more waters start coming lucky i sat on a towel lol. Got to the hospital just after 2am put me in a room and put me on a monitor to keep an eye on baby as i was having contractions 3-4mins apart but hadnt dilated so was on that for 1 hour half with doc and midwifes in n out the room till bout 3.45am midwife comes in an says i might be going home as not dilated but the doc on call needs to make the decision either send me home or admit me 10 mins later midwife comes back im getting admitted and they going to bring on my contractions with a drip uping the dose every 30 mins i fell asleep woke up 7ish for the shift change

Met the doc on shift she said at any point they wasn't happy with baby heart rate i was having a c section no question asked -didnt want that so 9am i got the epidural only 0.5 dilated at this point. 11am 2cm dilated 2pm 5 cm dilated so round 4 pm the pressure started big time i needed to push got checked 10cm dilated woop woop so was pushing for 50 mins baby heart rate was dropping every time I had a contraction the midwife got worried said she needed help then asked bd to push a button and within 2 sec 8 ppl came flying in the room alarms going off mayhem. I started crying thinking something wrong with my baby everyone telling me to calm down focus on pushing mins pass still no baby they can see him crowning so the doc had to cut me a lil for babys head to be born and once he did that 2 mins later my lil man was born 6lb 2oz 😁😁💙💙 literally was soo happy just wanted my baby and food lol

So placenta came out fine then doc had to stitch me up as he was doing it i could literally feel every pull of the thread so i hit the gas n air after inhaling that i was sky hy couldn't feel a thing lol

Me n baby stayed in hospital for 2 days after so they could monitor baby's sugar levels came home 12th may 12pm

Since then me n baby doing great im loving being a mum to my first born
