Hollister exchange policy?

Can I exchange something from hollister without receipt ? I got a birthday gift and I would like to exchange it for another size but they didn’t give me a gift receipt and they lost the original receipt ?

If it’s still got the tag on it I don’t see why they wouldn’t. They may just put the refunded money on a gift card rather than giving you the money back in cash.
