My husband wants Spencer as the name not matter the gender. I'm perfectly fine with the name because it has a meaning to him. So many people "disapprove of the name and I'm trying to let it bother me.

I like it much better as a girl name actually. For a boy it sounds nerdy and old man...but on a girl it seems fresh and trendy.
