I feel like my obgyn is going overboard with making me jump through extra hoops due to my age and size. I am a plus size mama and 41. I have had to do an ekg, extra genetic testing, extra urine test( peed in a jug for 24 hrs), at 20 Weeks a fetal echocardiogram. All these extra expenses have now taken us to over $10k in medical bills. And on top of that she doesn’t even know if I will be able to deliver at the hospital due to my BMI. So that will cost even more. My blood pressure is great, I do have GD because of my fastening numbers only. I have lost 20 lbs since becoming pregnant. It just adds a lot of stress anyone else having to jump through hoops
