Constant period

So I had the IUD put in about a month and a half ago. Reason I chose to get it is I am on tension headache medication that apparently you can’t take unless you are on some sort of birth control. I’ve taken the pill in the past and my body gained so much weight. So the IUD is the way we went. My period started 4 days after insertion and last A WHOLE MONTH with some of the worst cramps. Now might I had I already suffer from severe cramps where I pass out from the pain. I am prescribed strong pain meds during that time. However, these cramps have been worse and/or about the same. My period had finally stopped FOR TWO DAYS and surprise this morning a T-Rex has come pounding down the door of my uterus leaving a giant mess!!!!! Just kinda curious to what ya ladies thoughts are. Have you experienced the same? What would you do? I have an appointment today to check it but in all honesty I’m about to tell the Doc to take it out. My and my boyfriend haven’t had sex since 😩 mainly because I’m afraid it’ll hurt lol
