Had sex the day I started a new pack of birth control am I protected?

Been on birth control for a year now, but was just on my break week and started a new pack  on the 8th day like I’m supposed to but I had sex later that day with no condom am I protected ?

As long as ur taking the pills properly/consistently, then yes, ur continuously protected.

You’re protected continuously if you take your pill correctly. As soon as you miss a pill or stop taking it, assume you are not protected

As long as you stick to being consistent you should be fine but even on the pill you can get pregnant I have a friend with two babies she was on the pill both times.
