Have you ever took an Artist class that was JUST book work?

I’m taking an Art class now my first year in college and I was so upset that my favorite subject was just book work. I’m learning new stuff, which is a good thing but I just wish I could do some  drawing or painting. Oh yeah, I’m taking an Art History class. Even though it said “Art” on my schedule but whatever. 😒😂

I’m an Art & Design major and I have a minor in Museum Studies so I’ve been taking a lot of different art classes. For STUDIO classes, I’ve taken Drawing One, Drawing Two, Drawing Three, 2D Design, 3D Design, and I’m currently taking Life Drawing. I’m also going to take a painting and print making class next semester.
For non studio courses, I’ve taken Art of Africa, America, and Oceania (Art 273), Museum Studies, Western Art (Art 272), and a few other Art History courses. 
I’m a portrait artist (I draw people) and I LOVE taking the studio classes but you have to remember that you have to learn about other elements in regard to art as well. If you specially want to take studio courses you need to make sure to look up a course description before registering for the class so you know what the class is for. But if certain classes are required there’s no way around it lol
