Does the hospital provide a blanket for the baby?

I have a whole bunch but i see all these blankets that babys are wrapped in after being born where do i get those or does the hospital provide them. I have blankets and muslim wraps but where do they come from!!?

my hospital let me take mine home, just depends but always provide at least one while you are at the hospital.

Yes they do but my hospital doesn’t let us take them home. With my son the material gave his face a rash, maybe from being washed too much or the type of detergent, so we brought our own for my daughter. She was received in a hospital blanket but the next day I used mine, it was all flowery and girly so it was cute for pictures lol

The hospital has receiving blankets, but you can bring your own if you want. The blankets the hospital provides usually stay at the hospital when you leave.
