TMI:: Anal Fissure???

Hi ladies. So I work in a very fast paced hospital environment where i barely have time to use the restroom if needed. About a week or so ago, I had to poop while working so I ran into the bathroom and did my business super quick (straining to get it out as quick as possible) and I must not have gotten myself completely clean. When I did my business, it hurt like REALLY bad almost to the point of crying, and that’s why I had trouble wiping. Well not being completely clean just made matters worse and I think irritated the area even more. So now (I got my husband to take a pic of my junk) it has little red micro skin tears all around the hole and when I use the BR it hurts like no ones business and itches afterwards + sweating at work irritates the area and keeps it moist so it can’t hardly heal before it seems to be ripped back open. It’s not hemorrhoids, just little skin tears. Have any of you experienced these and what have y’all done to treat it??  I want to avoid a trip to the doctor’s office at all costs. I have Gold Bond Medicated Anti Itch lotion and Hydrocortisone cream at home. I just applied the Hydrocortisone to the area and we’ll see how that goes.

I had one of those and omg I would cry every day because of it. I bought this cream called Anusol Cream and Nupercrainal ointments. You can buy it from Walgreens or and drug store pharmacy. Before this I was trying all types of remedies but these two creams combine was the only thing that healed it& also so sitzs bath those are amazing. And apply the cream after you do the Sitsz bath and after every bowel movement clean the area with warm water and apply the cream.

Doctor suggested sitting in warm bath for 20-30 minutes. Also prescribed an ointment.

Used to work in a surgeons office and we delt with these all the time. Use the hydrocortisone and try to get a little bit up into the rectum as well as around. Try to do it a few times a day. If that doesn’t help you can get some prescription creams but the main ingredient in those is usually the hydrocortisone. Baby wipes or tucks pads may also help keep your backside more easily cleaned and fresh too. Good luck!
