periods

so i’m 14 and i got my first period in october 2017

then i had a 6 month gap until my next period, and it’s been irregular also so in total i’ve only had 4 periods.

my mum got me pads and tampons before i started my period, and i thought she would like get me more pads and stuff but she hasn’t so i’ve had to buy them myself without saying anything to her. i get a monthly allowance so i’m not technically buying it with my own money but they’re still quite expensive and i want to ask her to get me some but i don’t know what to say.

i feel as though she’ll be like “well why haven’t you asked me months ago?” and it’s really awkward because i’ve never asked for supplies before and it sounds lame but i find she’s quite hard to talk to about it because i’m awkward and so is she

anyone know good ways to ask for more pads/tampons that avoid awkwardness ?? thanks :)
