My doctor proscribed me medication but I don’t think I have herpes! The medication is for herpes!!! They proscribed me valacyclovir and acyclovir.

I used Vala for my first outbreak and have had a script on hand if I ever have a breakout again. I’ve been lucky and haven’t had to deal with repeated breakouts but it definitely lessons the length

Did you get tested for it?

Make sure you were tested for herpes before taking anything. The 2 meds that you listed are in fact medication given for it.
