Arm implant

Have any of you tried the arm implant? If you have what was your experience like? I’ve tried the pill an it didn’t work for me because it made me gain a ton of weight and I was bad at taking it on time. Now I’m on the shot but I don’t really want to go to the doctor every 3 months especially because I’m going to be in a long distance relationship and I’d have to get a shot before I see my boyfriend so I’d be taking it inconsistently. The implant seems best for me because it’s long term and I don’t have to worry about getting a shot every 3 months. Any advice is appreciated!
