Am I the only 13 year old in 9th grade?

I feel like I’m too young for my grade. Everyone makes fun of me because they are like way older than me. I just want to know if there is anyone like me. This is really eating at my self esteem.

I was born on January so I turned 14 midway through 9th grade, back in 5th grade everyone was 10/11 and I was still 9 and I was made fun of all the time for being the youngest in class ( I dont get why though) but I’m fine with it now and it doesn’t upset me anymore. 
I still do not reveal what year I was born because I kinda still don’t want any judgements
On top of me being the youngest in my class I’m also a straight A student and more mature than many 
It really doesnt matter that you’re younger or older than your classmates what matters is your grades and mental health. 
You’re also going to finish school and college when you’re younger than your classmates, or you could have a gap year between high school and college and it wouldn’t matter 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hunny you should actually take this and look at it from another perspective. You’re going to graduate high school by the time you’re 17 and that’s perfectly okay. I’m the oldest one out of my closest friends and they started high school at 13 too. Don’t let anyone bring you down because you are fabulous! Remember in school you don’t need to be liked you just need your diploma. Stay strong and good luck!

Hun trust me it gets better. i skipped a grade so i turned 14 halfway through my freshman year. i used to get made fun of but now all of my friends don’t care. Just be confident in yourself and be who you are, they will learn to like your gorgeous self anyways😍😍❤️

If my school started just a few days earlier (it starts on the sixth of September) I would be thirteen too. It’s really fine, and I’m assuming you will either have your birthday soon or are in an accelerated program, but either way, it’ll all pan out fine in the end. People might make a big deal about your age, but I promise it’s not as big of a deal as they’re making it.
