is pill + pullout a safe method? i’m not looking to get pregnant but want to trust my pill enough for this

Don’t believe the rest. If you take you pill correctly , you will be okay.  Of course there is always that 1%. Whether my pure luck of operator error- ie. Taking medications that interfere with your birth control, missing pills. 
But that way you are doing should be fine. I’ve been on birth control for ages and no condoms and no baby
